Centre Culturelle Suisse

Founded in Paris to promote cultural exchange between French and Swiss contemporary art

38 Rue des Francs Bourgeois, 75003 Paris, France

Located in the heart of the Marais, the Swiss Cultural Centre (RCC) aims to make Swiss contemporary art known in France and to promote the influence of Swiss artists.

It also aims to prodcue links between Swiss and French contemporary art. Pro Helvetia, the Swiss Foundation for Culture is the main source of funding of CCS.

The Swiss Cultural Center hosts two exhibition spaces (280 m2), an auditorium seating a hundred spectators and a library. The latter, designed by architects Jakob + MacFarlane, offers a rich selection of books, DVDs and CD. The focus is on contemporary art, architecture, graphics and literature.
