The Fundación Juan March was initiated by Juan March Ordinas in 1955

Initiated by Juan March Ordinas in 1955, the foundation was founded with the purpose of promoting humanistic and scientific culture in Spain. The space has a rich program of free cultural activities organized at its three venues, including exhibitions, concerts and lecture series. It also houses a library devoted to contemporary Spanish music and theater. It owns and operates the Museo de Arte Abstracto Español, in Cuenca and the Museu Fundación Juan March, in Palma de Mallorca.
