Founded in 2009 by Annamária Molnár, Ani Molnár Gallery developed high international profile, representing artists from Hungary and the CEE region both locally and internationally. Open to all media, special focus is placed on installation and conceptual art.

Ani Molnár Gallery, established in 2009 by Annamária Molnár, is located in Budapest downtown Palace District. The gallery is representing artists from Hungary and the CEE region both locally and internationally. The artists of the gallery have conceptual artistic profile, they work with the use of a wide range of materials and many of them in the field of installation. The gallery organizes solo and group exhibitions giving priority to curatorial concepts.
The gallery has organised a series of non-profit, public space projects for 7 years showcasing large-scale installations at Park Gallery, which is located inside a major shopping centre, thereby encouraged interaction between contemporary art and a wider audience.
The gallery displays a wide range of artworks by highly acclaimed Hungarian and foreign artists like Péter Forgács, Emese Benczúr, Marge Monko, Dénes Farkas, Szilárd Cseke, each having exhibited in major international art events, e.g. the Venice, Sao Paolo, Liverpool, Turku and Moscow Biennials or in Manifesta, and have works in prestigious international collections like the MoMA, Centre Pompidou, Getty Museum, KUMU, the Ludwig and MUSAC collections. Emerging young artists like Ekaterina Shapiro-Obermair, Sári Ember, Eva Mayer, Veronika Jakatics-Szabó, Péter Mátyási are also presented by the gallery, together with the established artists in top international art fairs like The Armory Show in New York, ArtBrussels, Artissima in Turin, ARCOMadrid and specialized/regional art fairs such as LOOP Barcelona, viennacontemporary, Artmarket Budapest. In 2013 the Ani Molnár Gallery was the first Eastern European gallery ever to receive the F.E.A.G.A. Innovation and Creativity Award in Basel.
