Founded in 2001 by Rita and Remo Urso under the name Artopia, the project space is dedicated to show Italian and international artists working in a wide range of media, with a particular interest in the relation between art and cinema, time and filmic, photographic and painted image.
The renovation of the space in 2008 and its re-organisation brought to a transformation of the gallery orientation, which changed its name in RITA URSO.
Among the others the gallery presented projects by Margherita Morgantin, Phil Collins, Adel Abidin, Adrian Paci, Marzia Migliora, Maja Bajevic, Ana Pravki, Renata Poljak or Vlatka Horvat.
