Founded and directed by Renata Bianconi, Galleria Bianconi has for many years carried out meticulous research in the field of Italian art of the second half of the twentieth century.
Contacts & Details
Together with the most celebrated names, the Gallery has particularly concentrated on rediscovering those masters who, for various reasons, have recently been neglected, to put them once again into the spotlight among collectors, historians, curators and institutions. It has once again focused on the works of powerful artistic personalities of great vision but who also show an independent, personal style of their own and who maintained a close interaction with the social context and with the artistic forces of their day.
The same distinctive approach to research into our recent past is also applied to the present. Since the opening of the new location in via Lecco 20 (Milan) has been developed an area complitely devoted to the contemporary world.
The aim is to create cultural projects that can give added value and bring about a positive encounter of energies for the development of contemporary society, starting out from the powerful, individual visions of artists of our day, both emerging and well-established.
