Chosun University Museum of Art provides space for students, professors, and citizens to enjoy art and share educational opportunities by menaging records on domestic and overseas artworks and painting exhibition.
It wants to develop the Asian culture as a cultural art museum in line with the university’s objective of supporting unique talents who can contribute to the human society based on creative spirits developed by education for individuality.
Chosun University Museum of Arts and Design has been playing a central role in the artistic circle of Jeollanam-do Province for the past 65 years, having produced outstanding artists such as Oh Ji-ho and Yim Jik-soon.
Chosun University Museum of Art plans to open the galleries for Po Kim and Sylvia Wald and hold exhibits for Po Kim to improve the reputation of the museum. It will also expand the art educational programs in an effort to further increase the communication with local cultural and artistic circles.
