M+ Pavilion

Founded in 2016 it is the first permanent venue for exhibitions and events in the emerging art hub

West Kowloon Cultural District, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong

Opened in 2016, the M+ Pavilion serves as the primary venue for M+ exhibitions and events until the 2020 completion of the M+ Museum.
Hong Kong’s museum for visual culture — M+ — will be one of the largest museums of modern and contemporary visual culture in the world. Located adjacent to the park on the waterfront, and designed by Herzog & de Meuron, the museum building is scheduled to open in 2020/2021. After the opening of the museum, the M+ Pavilion will serve as new space for creatives to set up independent exhibitions and cultural activities in the Art Park.
