MARCO Monterrey

MARCO, Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Monterrey was designed by internationally renowned Mexican architect Ricardo Legorreta, famous for giving national subjects a modern twist. Legorreta creates different moods and ambiances in every corner, transforming a visit to the Museum into a unique experience.

Artwork is showcased by a careful, balanced arrangement of natural and artificial light, so that a visit to this museum is nothing like touring a laboratory that contains works of art, but a visit to a series of architectural spaces and elements that are, in themselves, works of art.

MARCO is housed in a 172,000 sq. ft. building, of which 53,800 is exhibition space divided into 11 halls; the rest is occupied by spaces such as the Central Patio with its breathtaking water mirror, Auditorium, Museum Store, Restaurant, and Sculpture Court.
