The Poznań Museum was established in 1857. It was renamed to National Museum in Poznan in 1950. It is one of the oldest, biggest and most important museums in Poland. Its rich and diverse holdings preserve and present to the public the legacy of centuries and generations, of knowledge, effort and passion of those who have gathered these artworks, among which there are gems fit for any prestigious world gallery.
