Ateliê397

Established in 2003 by a group of artists, the space has slowly established itself as one of the most experienced and relevant independent spaces of the city.

R. Professor Gonzaga Duque, 148, Pompeia

Established in 2003 under the direction of Marcelo Amorim and Thais Rivitti, the art space was founded by a group of artists working as studio and space for exhibitions, performances, concerts and video art screenings. Ateliê397 also takes care of editing and publishing artists books within an experimental and innovative concept.

Since 2017, Ateliê397 has been managed collectively, by a team of agents that elaborate and realise the diverse projects of the space: Cadu Riccioppo, Edu Marin, Flora Leite, Jaime Lauriano, Maikon Rangel, Raphael Escobar, Sergio Pinzón and Thais Rivitti.
