Fountainhead House, Residency and Studios
The Fountainhead Haus inspires, engages and connects people. Artists and art are its vehicle.
Contacts & Details
The Fountainhead, founded in 2008 by collectors Dan and Kathryn Mikesell accomplishes this by enhancing the lives and careers of artists, infusing Miami’s growing art and cultural community with artistic inspiration from around the world, collaborating with local institutions, non-profits and businesses to support the city’s growth, building a global family that transcends all borders and continues to give back, and cultivating new audiences for the arts through intimate engagements, education and unique experiences.
The Fountainhead Residency was opened in 2008. It hosts up to forty artists every year. It’s an opportunity for each artist to live and work in Miami for up to two months. While here the artists meet and gain critical feedback from leaders and artists in the community.
The Fountainhead Studios were opened for Miami based artists. It was created to provide flexible and affordable studio space and to provide artists with a supportive community in which to thrive. It is home to over 30 artists.
The Fountainhead Experience is a membership program that supports all Fountainhead initiatives. It provides members with intimate experiences with artists, galleries, museums, collectors and professionals in the art world to help more people feel at home in the art world and the local community.
