A living museum, where art and creativity become an integral part of daily life.
Contacts & Details
The project by the International Institute of Futurist Studies (ISISUF) is an experimental space to present art within a beautifully renovated Milanese Liberty palace and thereby engages the building’s residents in direct contact with art and creativity.
The liberty style building located close to the shopping streets of Corso Buenos Aires, does not only house interchangeable temporary residence spaces, meeting rooms and customizable ateliers. The building as well accommodates exhibition spaces to present different artistic projects. The aim is to create a unique environment, to experience art in an unexplored way, in the revolutionary tradition of the original futurist spirit. The fluidity of spaces allows artists and creatives to install micro-worlds of high aesthetic and sensorial impact within the rooms.
Further, the building houses a public art gallery which functions as a temporary exhibition space for presenting new products from the sustainers of the ISISUF. It is a new concept, overlapping domestic units with public art projects, to create a multi-purpose space for residents, artists and their guests.
The ISISUF is an international organization that is focused on futurist movements and anticipates and follows the micro-movements of contemporary art. Its main activities include the promotion of modern and contemporary art projects, documentation, collection and conservation of art works, supporting publications and nourishing its own library and archives of futurist works and volumes on architecture, avant-garde poetry, sculpture and art criticism.
