A non profit-organization, Mite-Ugro is a multi-cultural place established by the local young artists and curators.

Mite-Ugro is located in the traditional market at the center of Gwangju downtown where the Korean government’s projects such as Gwanju Biennale and Asia Culture Hall have been hosted; it was established by the will of the artists and the planning directors.
Mite-Ugro is currently working on international residency, young artists’ artwork creation supports, international exchange exhibitions, independent curators workshops, etc., and are striving for artists exchanges and culture exchanges through the residency program which is based on Asia. Mite-Ugro has gallery, café, shared restaurant, archive library, and guest house; plus in the long run, Mite-Ugro is planning to build a settled platform through the continuous artists and creation space exchanges.
