Since 2009, the art space supports young international artists to develop unique and exceptional projects.
Contacts & Details
SALTS is a not-for-profit space supporting young international artists. Far from the usual gallery set-up and dynamics, it aims to develop outstanding site-specific projects. Located in in the outskirts of Basel, an old family butcher shop, two renovated garages, a courtyard and garden adjacent to the River Birs are the contextual elements within which each invited artist is encouraged to respond.
SALTS is run by Samuel Leuenberger and co-curated by Elise Lammer, and hosts regular contributions by guest curators.
