Rizzuto Gallery

Focused on contemporary visual arts, the gallery develops projects involving and supporting artists whose research – regardless of the artistic media (painting, sculpture, photography, installations, video or other) – demonstrates predisposition to experimentation, and whose artistic path is compatible with the projects of the gallery, that works to promote opportunities of research and expansion, in Italy and abroad.

In March 2017, the Gallery, after three years of activity in a residential area of the City, has moved to the Historical Center of Palermo, to “Kalsa” the oldest district in the City. The new Gallery venue, at number 5 of Via Maletto, is located in an artistically and culturally important area of the City, in one of the most impressive historical sites.

Waldburger Wouters

In spring 2018, Waldburger Wouters opened an office and project space in Basel, in cooperation with the pioneering ShanghART Gallery.

The gallery program unites diverse international positions and doesn’t follow neither hypes nor mainstream labels. Waldburger Wouters artists’ stable aims at constituting a complex but balanced universe, expressing the diversity of our contemporary society. The gallery strongly focus on artists with very unique approaches, being considered mavericks in their field. As, for example, Lynn Hershman Leeson, pioneer in New Media Art; Mark Dion, who early on questioned scientific legitimacy and the appropriation of nature; or Xu Zhen/MadeIn Company, who is at the forefront of conceptual art in China.

Last Tango

Last Tango is a temporary exhibition space located in Kreis 5 in Zurich. Last Tango explores the duality of artistic practices and encourages conversations between artists. Exhibition programming consists of duo exhibitions, with kindred subjects or contrasting positions in the artists’ work. Kreis 5 where Last Tango is located, it is a fast changing neighborhood, it is the “last” moment before gentrification. Hence the name “Last Tango”.

Additional to the exhibitions, Last Tango presents Side Step, a 3x3m project room, featuring 5 interventions by local and, primarily, Hong Kong-based artists.

Galerie Maria Bernheim

Founded in December 2015 by Maria Bernheim, to pursue the goal of showing the work of contemporary artists from around the world, focusing on a few Swiss artists as well as attempting to bridge the gap between the French speaking part of Switzerland and the German one.

The goal is also to contextualize within art historical traditions the work of younger artists and providing the viewers with the understanding that despite the lack of artistic movements, many artists are sharing similar interests as well as sets of references and expressing those with multifarious aesthetics. Since its recent opening the gallery has already programmed very well received exhibitions, including the first retrospective in Switzerland in a gallery of paintings by American artist Elizabeth Murray. The gallery will pursue its collaboration with young international curators in the coming years, thus attempting at becoming a platform for young and more established artists as well as for a curatorial conversation around challenging them

Renata Fabbri

Since its opening, Renata Fabbri arte contemporanea has been committed to showing to an increasingly involved and mindful audience the multiple expressions of the contemporary art world.

The gallery devotes itself to the exploration of the essence of “modernity” through the work of different generations of artists who, with fresh and unexpected styles, are focused on grasping and expressing the complexity of what may still be called “beauty”.
