Kochi-Muziris Biennale 2016 encompasses many different forms of expression, including dance, poetry, literature and theatre. There are 97 artists, from 31 countries, with works spread across 12 venues, from Aspinwall House to Kottapuram Fort.
There is an exciting line-up of performances, and discussions throughout 108 days.
Performance pieces feature strongly in the biennale programme, including the work of Anamika Haksar, New York-based Japanese artist Aki Sasamoto with a performance-based installation and Zuleikha Chaudhari whose video and performance work is on show at Aspinwall House.
