Free Range – Fringe Projects

169 E Flagler Street

Fringe Projects is an experimental public art commissioning project helping artists to realise site-determined projects in public places; the project investigates downtown Miami’s less conventional spaces with context-specific interventions, installations, and performances.
During Art Basel, Fringe Projects presents a walking tour led by New Haven-based artist Tschabalala Self of various new works in Downtown Miami, and a night of performances orchestrated by New Haven-based artist Tschabalala Self and DJ Michael Mosby. The performances take place at the site of Self’s installation in Downtown Miami, where attendees can experience it in the midst of different art projects, including a series of painted car covers by New Mexico-based artist Keith Allyn Spencer.

Free public access, meeting point in the lobby of The Alfred I. Dupont Building.
