The annual GPP event features a host of hands-on photography workshops, practical seminars and exhibitions, as well as an expo showcasing all of the latest and greatest photography gear, exclusive offers and free events from the event partners.
A group of specialist photographers, combining some of the industry’s most legendary names with the emerging talent, provides a program of master classes covering portraiture, conceptual and fine art photography, landscape and street photography, studio lighting, commercial photography, documentary, editorial and fashion photography.
Teaching at GPP for the first time, there are, among others, the architectural and fine art photographer, Michael Kelley, one of the most in-demand wedding photographers in the world, Ryan Brenizer, and highly respected VII Photo Agency photojournalist, Ed Kashi.
The Dubai Knowledge Village Conference Centre comes alive during the event, with a buzz of energy and inspiration where photographers meet, learn and connect. This truly unique, 8-day event draws over 4000 participants from the Gulf region and around the globe to learn from some of the world’s finest photographers.
The GPP 2015 starts with the ever-popular PhotoFriday on Friday, March 6. PhotoFriday is an exciting full day composed of sixteen 90-minute seminars and panel discussions appealing to a broad range of photography levels, made accessible to a wide audience.
GPP‘s central program is coupled with additional events including photography exhibitions, movie nights, inspirational talks and Slidefest evenings where creative individuals can share ideas and find further inspiration.
Gulf Photo Plus is Dubai’s Photography Centre whose aim is to nurture and develop the photography community in the UAE and within the region. With a primary focus to offer workshops, seminars, and events that encourage learning and skill development, Gulf Photo Plus has garnered a reputation as the leader in photography events, with the annual Gulf Photo Plus event every March, its regular photography workshops and community events throughout the year, and newly added international GPP Pop Up events as highlights on the annual calendar.
