Mill6 Heritage Program – Public Forum: Archiving The Mills through the lens

12P Smithfield Road Kennedy Town

This is an artist-initiated project that captures the transition and memories of The Mills during the heritage conservation project commenced in 2015. With each of their artistic practice and approach, six photographers: anothermountainman, Kitty Chou, South Ho, Law Yuk Mui, So Hing Keung and Tse Ming Chong, from Hong Kong have produced images of various aesthetics and stories around the engrained legacy at Mill6’s future home, The Mills (Nan Fung Textile Mill) in Tsuen Wan. Their works have contributed to study and archive of Mill6.

As part of its Heritage Program, the public forum will also showcase some precious photographic and architectural documentations of The Mills during its active years of textile production.
