The Venice Glass Week

The Venice Glass Week is the first international festival dedicated to Murano glass art promoted by the major city institutions, running from 10 to 17 September 2017 in Venice.
The week includes exhibitions, conferences, seminars, educational activities, projections, parties, open furnaces and other events, all of which have the main artistic theme.

The initiative is promoted by three of the main Venetian cultural institutions that have been working on the theme for years: the Venice Civic Museum Foundation, the Giorgio Cini Foundation, the Veneto Institute of Science, Arts and Literature and the most important association of the sector: the Consortium Promovetro Murano, the trademark manager of the Veneto Glass Artistico Murano Region.

Alongside the initiatives organized by the four promotional bodies, it is foreseen that all the realities that want to organize events related to this theme will be adhered to. You can join with your own project until February 28, 2017.
