Abitabito
“Abitabito” is a pun with the words “abito” (dress, clothes, and habitude) and “abitare” (living). The “abito” inhabits the body and through the body, the environment. It is the subject of our dialogue with the exterior, a second skin we use to express ourselves. Various dressing codes contaminate the domestic spaces making the bodies “furnished” and the rooms “clothed”.
The three installations represent three rooms dressed with the precious Pratesi fabrics, created by an international team of female designers: ‘Dreamer Skin’ by Fernanda Biagi (Mexico), ‘In between’ by Lulu Zhang (China) and ‘A table story’ by Giulia Zorzella (Italy), respectively a bedroom, a bathroom and a dining room.
Conceived by Alessandro Guerriero and with artistic direction by Denise Bonapace
