The exhibition features more than 20 large-scale paintings by the artist Adolph Gottlieb (1903 – 1974). A prominent representative of the New York School, Gottlieb painted these pieces from the mid-1950s until his death in 1974.

On view pieces from the Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Foundation and loans from major institutions such as the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, the Blanton Museum of Art, the Jewish Museum, the Princeton University Art Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, the Walker Art Center, and the Whitney Museum of American Art, and many others.
