Amadeo Luciano Lorenzato: And You Cannot Imagine that Epaminondas Is Me

“And you can not imagine that Epaminondas is me” (“E você nem imagina que Epaminondas sou eu”) is the largest exhibition dedicated to the artist Amadeo Luciano Lorenzato. Curated by Rivane Neuenschwander and Alexandre da Cunha, who made a careful selection of the best works of the best collections in the country.

The exhibition will showcase 35 paintings, made between 1960 and 1990 (Lorenzatoused to date his jobs when they left the studio) the Italian-Brazilian artist who painted everyday scenes, abstract figures and landscapes in Belo Horizonte.

Considered one of the greatest personalities of the visual arts of Minas Gerais, named “Artist of the artists”, inspired a whole generation, who also collected his works.
