Ana Vaz: The Voyage Out

Following in the BL CK B X series at LUX London, artist Ana Vaz presents her first UK solo exhibition, which document a new iteration of her ongoing project The Voyage Out. The project departs from the catastrophe of Fukushima, two years later, to reflect upon the ecological disaster and the possibility of renewal.

The entire project is conceived as a constellation of smaller works, since it is composed by a set of short films in 16mm, a radio series, videos, cartographies and conversations, which grows and develop with every exhibition in the series, bringing together different articulations between its elements and partners. The final result of the project will be a full-length movie produced by Olivier Marboeuf (Khiasma/Spectre productions).

The exhibition is open from Wednesday to Saturday, from 12pm to 5pm.
