Autumn Casey: Waiting in Purgatory but at Least There’s Chairs and it Feels Musical

Autumn Casey presents an installation featuring new video, sound, and sculptural work. Casey mixes personal relics with found materials to provoke reactions, emotional responses and existential uncertainty.

She was awarded a solo show in the Center’s Project Room after winning the 2014 #acchfocus Instagram contest. The contest ran from September 1, 2013 through October 8, 2014 and had 1347 entries. All 52 images of the year’s winners will be displayed in a small format print in the Center’s new artist showcase, The Landing, concurrent with the 2015 Biennial.
