Black Refractions: Highlights from The Studio Museum in Harlem

The collective exhibition reunites more than one hundred works by nearly eighty artists from the 1920s to present days. “Black Refractions: Highlights from The Studio Museum in Harlem” is the result of the partnership between The Studio Museum in Harlem and The American Federation of Arts (AFA) and will travel to different institutions across the US.

The showcase includes pieces by Njideka Akunyili Crosby, Dawoud Bey, Chakaia Booker, Jordan Casteel, Beauford Delaney, Meschac Gaba, Barkley L. Hendricks, Juliana Huxtable, Norman Lewis, Tom Lloyd and many others.
