The South London Gallery opens for the first time all its spaces to a solo exhibition, dedicated to the Danish-Vietnamese artist Dahn Vo. Carrying on his research on the concept of plurality, Vo sets up the Main Gallery and the Fire station building, working across multiple spaces and disciplines. The project involves the collaboration of different people, both close to the artist or encountered along the way. Vo’s work often defies conventional structures of legitimisation within citizenship and identification. His conceptual practice investigates experiences of integration and migration, merging personal memories and archival material.
