Dance With Me Video

Maison Européenne de la Photographie – MEP presents “Dance With Me Video”, a group exhibition featuring the video work by the artists Shaun Gladwell, Ali Kazma and Elena Kovylina, focusing heavily on dancing and movement. In Shaun Gladwell’s “Double Voyage”, scenes of skateboarding and dancing set up a parallel between Sydney, his native city, and São Paulo. Elena Kovylina ponders social behaviors and the act of performing during shows where she puts herself in danger. Ali Kazma’s universe gravitates around themes of work, the body, and its control.
