Darren Bader: Proposta per le 9 Sinfonie

On the occasion of his solo show at Franco Noero and for the duration of Artissima, Bader has developed a sound installation titled Proposta per le 9 Sinfonie that will be presented from November 3rd to November 8th in the 18th century apartment on the second floor of Piazza Carignano 2. Beethoven’s Symphonies are all played at the same time, each symphony recorded by a different orchestra, in each of the apartment’s rooms.

The installation serves as a template, by which Bader seeks a financier to bring nine live orchestras together in one place, each orchestra playing one of Beethoven’s Symphonies, all orchestras beginning its Symphony at the same time.

In occasion of Artissima, from November 5th to 8th, a breakfast will be served at the gallery every morning from 9.30 am to 11.30 am.

On Saturday, November 7th on the occasion of the Contemporary Art Night, the exhibition will be also open from 9 am to 12 pm.
