Darsena residency #2

For the 2016 edition of the Darsena residency Galleria Massimodeluca invites four artists to take part in three thematic working sessions in constant dialogue with two young curators, providing a studio visits programme by internationally established curators and artists. In order to encourage a dynamic and versatile approach within artistic research, the programme of Darsena residency #2 wants to promote the investigation of the personal work methodologies of the selected artists, inviting them to question the most current topics of contemporary research processes.

The residency will take place between the 3rd of June and the 15th of July, 2016 and the programme will consist of three sessions for the investigation of three macro-themes:

First session: 6th – 16th June on the theme of Appropriation

Second session : 20th – 30th June on the theme of Resistance

Thirs session: 4th – 14th July on the theme “2046”
