David Tremlett: Someone has done something on the wall, from 1974 to 2017

Studio AR.CH.IT Luca Cipelletti, Via Pasquale Paoli, 8

Luca Cipelletti’s studio AR.CH.IT, founded in 2000 in Milan, is specialized in the design of
museums, exhibition spaces and displays, of buildings and interiors in a continuous exchange between art and architecture.

Recently renewed, the studio aims to transform his space in an exhibition venue, hosting a series of projects dealing with art and architecture. For his first edition, launched in occasion of miart, the studio starts this cycle with a solo show by David Tremlett that is the result of a ten years dialogue between the artist and Luca Ciepelletti.

The exhibition, coordinated by Massimo Valsecchi, collects the artist’s historical artworks produced between 1975 and 1991 with the more recent wall drawing made as a site-specific work for AR.CH.IT. The sentence which gives the name to the show is an ironical reference to the 70’s artists who began a dialogue between space, painting and sculpture. Tremlett expands this idea of design in relationship with art and architecture, sharing this goal with the studio.

Opened daily 10am-6pm during miart and Salone until Sunday, April 9th
By appointment: until Friday, May 5th
