balzer projects presents “I Am Not Guilty”, a solo exhibition by the artist Deneth Piumakshi Wedaarachchige, featuring an installation testing the narrow dividing lines between political activism and art. Displaying works on rock and embroidery, the show focuses on 21st century slavery in the Middle East, addressing stories of violence against female domestic workers from Sri Lanka.
