Edward Burtynsky: Salt Pans

Sundaram Tagore Singapore, 5 Lock Road 01-05, Gillman Barracks

Sundaram Tagore Gallery showcases the new set of photographies by Edward Burtynsky , the exhibition is entitled “Salt Pans”, and is the result of an incredible trip the artist made across India.

For this project Burtynsky travelled across Gujarat, to have the chance to take some shots of the Little Rann of Kutch, a region which counts more than one thousand salt workers. The works here on view are taken from an elicopter during a ten day journey, and are absolutely intriguing and fascinating for their geometric and perfect “visual shape”.
