Ettore Fico: Photographs, Polaroids, Notebooks, Pastel and Engravings

A rich unpublished body of about one hundred photographs and polaroids taken by Ettore Fico, starting from the 1970s, is here displayed for the first time at the museum of the same name.

The themes of landscape and garden, which the artist was so fond of, are here dealt with thanks to the new photographic means (Polaroid instant camera using self-developing film) first and foremost for its documentary value, but also and above all as a new means of expression encapsulating his painting.
A further manner to emphasize his style, also through the new photographic means, always balancing between abstraction and figuration.
