On the occasion of the bicentenary of the death of Giacomo Quarenghi (1744-1817), Gallerie dell’Accademia proposes an exhibition dedicated to the architectural designs and projects by the artist.
About one hundred drawings will be exhibited, mostly unpublished and never presented to the public, among the most representative of the 213 architectural sheets of the museum’s graphic background, while the catalog prepared for the occasion will include the cataloging of the entire nucleus.
