An Arena

The idea for this group show, with the extraordinary participation of the Los Angeles gallery Nonaka-Hill, stems from the work of Kentaro Kawabata (Saitama, 1976), a Japanese ceramist famous for colour, which led the two galleries to think of recreating, on the occasion of the Venice Art Biennale 2024, a Japanese colour field that could somehow be linked both to the American colour field but also to the materiality of arte povera.
