Ibirapuera: Modernidades Sobrepostas

This exhibition celebrates Ibirapuera Park’s 60th anniversary. Centred in the architectonic complex designed by Oscar Niemeyer, the inauguration of the park (1954) defines the image of the second phase of paulista modernity, more than 30 years after the Week of Modern Art of 1922.

Curated by architects Ana Barone and Rodrigo Queiroz, the show comprises drawings, photos, models, documents and blueprints from institutions belonging to the City of São Paulo, and to private collections and institutions, such as Intituto Moreira Salles.
