Ibrahim Mahama: Fragments

White Cube Bermondsey, 144-152, Bermondsey St, London SE1 3TQ, UK

“Fragments” is the first solo show by Ghanian artist Ibrahim Mahama with White Cube. He is known for creating installations by using jute sacks which were once used to transport cocoa and charcoal.  One of his most famous installations made of sacks was displayed during the 56th Venice Biennale in 2015.

The title of the exhibition takes inspiration from the homonimous book by Ayi Kwei Armah, a Ghanian writer.
