In the context of the program “Action, Camera!”, The Gallery of Everything presents two solo exhibition linked by a fascination with the camera, or rather, the lack thereof. On the one hand Ion Bârlādeanu displays his satirical anti-communist and anti-capitalist assemblages employing many of the formal properties of film, on the other Alan Constable shows his oversized clay replicas of cameras, reflecting a lifelong fascination with visual technology.
