Jacob Dahl Jorgensen
From 28 October to 26 November, the Danish artist Jacob Dahl Jürgensen ( * 1975 Copenhagen ) presents his first solo show in Brazil at Kunsthalle Sao Paulo.
Jacob Dahl Jürgensen works with sculpture, digital printing, collage and installation, among other media. Influenced by the modernism of the early twentieth century, Jurgensen often cites the history of art, intertwining forms and ideologies with recognizable fragments of popular culture to create ritualistic monuments of deifying a contemporary spirituality. He presented his works at: Badischer Kunstverein, Karlsruhe Germany; Overgaden in Copenhagen; Croy Nielsen, Berlin; Galerie Kamm, Berlin; Christian Andersen Gallery in Copenhagen; Rachel Uffner Gallery, New York; Utah Museum of Contemporary Art ( UMOCA ), Salt Lake City.
