Second solo show of New York based artist Jamian Juliano-Villani with Massimo De Carlo London, “Let’s Kill Nicole” alludes to a friend, most likely from grade school, made a violently irrational suggestion which became the vortex of the show.
Focused on banal drama, “Let’s Kill Nicole” contains irrational and melodramatic behaviour; a guilty dog with a bagel knife in his mouth, the butoh dancer Kazuo Ohno reminiscing over old CDs, and a naive monster truck mural trying to break out of the facade of the gallery.
