John Bock: The Next Quasi-Complex

Fondazione Prada, Milan

18 Jul 201824 Sep 2018

The exhibition by John Bock (Gribbohm, 1965; lives and works in Berlin) is conceived for the foundation’ Podium exhibition space. The project features performative elements to engage with the audience. Called “lectures” by the artist himself, the performances and environmental installations are crafted from everyday objects, found materials, detritus, furniture etc., arranged to create an illogical universe. During his live events, visitors are involved in an experiential and participatory relationship with the artist.
