The Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami presents for the first time in an American museum a comprehensive survey of work by John Miller. The artist has consistently represented both the experience of subjectivity and the social production of space by re-negotiating the conventions of realism. Bringing together more than 75 works, this thematic exhibition traces his deployment of realist figuration across a range of mediums—including painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, and video.
