Lawrence Power: The Urgency Of Being Still

balzer projects presents “The Urgency Of Being Still”, a solo exhibition by the artist Lawrence Power: an insight on his artistic practice, which the artist describes as “[…] a process of painting, over-painting, collaging.” Power works on several paintings simultaneously, building up their surfaces, one by one: strictly working two-dimensionally, his artistic practice is engaged in breaking down the conceptual and physical boundaries that have traditionally separated a work from its surrounding space.
