Luisa Editore: Alla Breve

Galeria Oscar Cruz presents a solo exhibition by Chilean artist Luisa Editore, who is currently residing in São Paulo. The show “Alle Breve” brings together never showed before works, including paintings and collages that reaffirm or interest the artist by the processes of paint production and its steps.

Luisa Editore is a painter, noted for her interest in the processes intrinsic to painting, such as incorporating the use of waste paint and masking tape, the unfolding of the color palette of each painting, as diptychs and polyptychs. She graduated in Textile Design from the University of Chile. In Brazil regularly participated in institutional courses. Had her solo exhibition “Detour to the White” at Galeria Oscar Cruz in São Paulo in 2013. Participated in several collective exhibitions in Brazil and abroad as “AZIMUTE ” and “Independência ou Morte”, both in the room Fidalga Project in São Paulo, “O Principio da Volatilidade” in the Smith Galeria in São Paulo; “Aluga-se 500 Gr” at Museu de Arte Contemporânea de Ribeirão Preto; – ” Photo Fidalga – Itinerância” in Quase Galeria in Porto, Portugal.
