Magazzino Italian Art is a new warehouse art space in the Hudson Valley devoted to Postwar and Contemporary Italian art.
Its firs exhibition is a tribute to Margherita Stein – gallerist and wife of Christian Stein – whose historic gallery is considered one of the pioneers of the Arte Povera movement. The show brings together a selection of works by artists belonging to the movement, who were chosen and fostered by Margherita over the years and is a tribute to the last avant-garde movement of the 20th century.
