MUVE presents at the Lace Museum in Burano an anthology exhibition showcasing Maria Bissacco’s artistic impulse and freshness in modeling lace.

The artist masters the bobbin lace technique and combines it with her creativity and modern approach with the aim to convert this Venice traditional embroidery practice in a form of art but maintaining its original nature.

The artist designs and creates by herself laces since 1994 and in 2000-2001 she gained her diploma as a master lacemaker from the Gorizia Scuola Corsi Merletti.
