Hauser & Wirth’s first branch in Asia at H Queen’s, presents an exhibition of new paintings by Los Angeles-based artist Mark Bradford. Bradford is known by his densely layered paintings and mixed media installations questioning America’s social landscape, politics and cultural history through a rigorous physical and material approach to the canvas. He was also the representative for the U.S. at the 57th Venice Biennial. The inaugural exhibition at Hauser & Wirth Hong Kong spans both floors of the gallery’s 10,000 sq ft space.
