Matthew Watson: Surplus to Requirements

The solo show “Surplus to Requirements”, set up by Galleria Federico Vavassori, collects new installations and artworks by Matthew Watson. It aims at reflecting on the relationship between the subject and the object. Depicting the theories of relations human–objects, the artist thus investigates the understanding and the nature of the human’s fetish for tangible things.
