Megan Rooney: Sun Up Moon Down

Freymond-Guth Fine Arts presents “Sun Up Moon Down”, a solo exhibition featuring sculptures, paintings and drawings by the artist Megan Rooney. As a visual story teller, the artist talks about “loose stories” made by faces and figurative images, vanishing surroundings revealing a personal observation of objects and experiences: “a philosophical experience, which is different for each location”. In the works showcased at the gallery, Rooney works with recurring subjects taken from glossy magazines in order to conclude a story and then tell a new one.
